昨日の続きで、skank/ bitch/ ho/ slut の意味を学びましょう。もう既にbitchの意味とslut の意味については前に触れましたね。今日は、skank /ho /whore/hoeといった女性を見下した響きがあるスラング表現をみていきましょう。
Skankの意味:これは下級の女性(つまり服装が安っぽい感じだったり肌の露出が多かったりするような感じの女性)に対して使います。”slut”と同じ意味で使う時もありますがそうでない時もあります。多くの人がParis Hilton や Britney Spears(この写真の彼女はまさしく”a skank”ですね) のことを話すときにこの単語を使いますよ。(彼女はくだらなくて個人的に私は好きですが…)
Ho / Whore / Hoe の意味: 基本的にこのスラングの意味は”売春婦“で、一般に女性を見下した意味で使われています。Snoop Dogg のヒップホップCDやビデオクリップの中でも何度もこれらの単語は使われています。もし誰かとセックスをしようと思っているのなら、その女性の前ではこの言葉は使わないようにしたほうが良いですね!
来週も続けて”セックス好きの女性”の表現方法をみていきます。明日のフレーズはそこまで失礼な表現ではないですよ☆

Continuing on from yesterday we are looking at the meanings of words like skank, bitch, ho and slut. We’ve already covered bitch – 意味 and slut -意味, now we’ll look at the meaning of skank and ho/whore/hoe, again these are derogatory terms:
- Skank: This is a woman who is low class, clothes are trashy and slutty – can also mean a slut, but not necessarily. Many people use this word to talk about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears – take a look at this photo, she is definitely looking like a skank here (and hey, I like Britney, but she is very trashy!)
- Ho or Whore or Hoe meaning: actually mean prostitute. People do use these in a derogatory way and also you hear it in hip hop English- (see this CD example or at this video example) quite a lot. If you are looking to get laid, I wouldn’t call women this!
Next week we’ll look at some possible terms that you could use for girls who like a lot of sex, that aren’t too bad.
