Sex and the City: ビッチ Bitch!

ビッチ！

これはSex and the Cityのショートクリップです。この中でサマンサはある女性をビッチ（a bitch）と呼んでいます。ビッチは女の人に対して使う呼び名で、その人にムカついていたり、怒りの感情があるときにその人の事をビッチと呼ぶことができます。

でもこれはすごく失礼で乱暴な言い方なので友だちやお母さん、会社のボスなどには使わないように

１．本来、Bitchとはメス犬のことを指します。　でも、今では怒りを込めて女の人を呼ぶ時のスラングとして使われています。（このビデオの中で使われているみたいに）

２．また、この単語は人使いの悪い、男性を困らせるような女性と言う意味もあります。ビッチである事を逆に誇りに思っている女性もたまにいるようです。そして“being a bitch”“ビッチでいる”事をジョークに使ったりもするようです。このように言えます。

“I was such a bitch to John last night.” 「昨晩ジョンを困らせちゃった」

３．最後に、文句を言いたい時、動詞のbitchが使えます。

“She was bitching me about being late.” 「彼女は私が遅刻した事に対して文句言ってくるの」

英語バージョン

This is a Sex and the City (very short) clip and in it Samantha calls another woman a bitch.  Bitch is a name we call women when we are angry or upset with them.  It is rude, so don’t call your friend’s mother or your boss a bitch!

1.  Bitch really means a female dog, but now has been adopted into slang to mean: a woman you are angry or annoyed with (like in the video here).

2.  It can also mean a woman who treats people (especially men) badly – some women are proud of this and might joke about “being a bitch”.

“I was such a bitch to John last night.”

3.  and finally as a verb “to bitch” means to complain.

“She was bitching me about being late.”
