Where is a good place to meet people? I get asked that question a lot. People are always wanting to know the best place to go to meet their next partner.
As you know I am living in the States at the moment and I am surprised at how much more forward guys are here. At home, I might get guys I don’t know talking to me in a bar or club, but here it might also happen at a bus stop or in a park. These Americans are not shy! They seem much more confident here.
Where do you think is a good place to meet people?
Some possible ways to meet new people are:
- At work (or University if you are studying)
- When you are out (at a bar or club)
- Through friends
- Online
- On a blind date
- Through your hobbies (a class, the gym etc)
- Just by chance (like my examples – at a park or a bus stop or even shopping)

私は今シアトルに住んでいるのですが、ここの男性は驚いた事にすっごく積極的なのです。私の地元、ニュージーランドではバーやクラブで知らない男性に話しかけられることはありますが、ここでは同じ事がバス停や公園なんかでも起こっちゃうんです! アメリカの男性は全然シャイではないようです。ニュージーランドの男性に比べると彼らはすごく自信に満ちていて大胆な感じがします。
