Fuck!!の説明

“fuck”はアメリカの映画やテレビ番組(SopranosやSex and the City)で耳にすることがとても多い単語です。基本的にこの単語はあなたが怒っている、いらいらしている、困った状況にあるときに使います。最近では、テレビ番組などでこの単語を聞く機会が非常に多いと思いますが、このスラングは、とても下品なので使わないほがよい状況(例えば両親や会社の上司などの前で)がたくさんあることを覚えておいて下さい。”fuck“という言葉自体を使うのを避けたければ”F-word“と代わりに呼ぶこともできます。”fuck”の代わりに”fudge”,”feck”,”flip”などを使う人もいます(これらは汚い表現ではありません)。

マドンナは1994年、David Letterman‘s Late Showと言うアメリカのトーク番組のインタビューで13回 “fuck” といったことで話題になりました。これは、アメリカのトーク番組史上で編集(ピーと言う音が入れられた)がなされた最多記録です。今は当時とは随分変わって、ドラマ”Sex and the City”のサマンサの口からは幾度となく“fuck”が出てきています。

それでもスラング”fuck”の使い方には十分気を付けて下さいね。この言葉は人を傷付けたり、不快感を与える場合もあります。普段からこの単語を使いすぎるとこの言葉の力や強さが弱まるので本気で使いたいときだけお使い下さい。

We are going to look at “fuck”.  It is a word that you hear a lot in American movies and on programs like the Sopranos and Sex and the City. Basically it shows that you are annoyed, angry or in a bad situation. Although you do hear this word a lot in the media, please do remember that it is still a swear word and unacceptable in many situations (like around my mum or your boss!).  If you want to refer to it without actually saying it, please call it “the F-word”, or some people say fudge, feck or flip instead and they are not swear words.

Madonna made history by saying fuck 13 times in an interview on the American talk show, David Letterman’s Late Show, in 1994, making it the most censored episode in American network television talk-show history.  Things have changed since then, what with every second word coming out of Samantha’s mouth in Sex and the City being “Fuck”.

Please use Fuck carefully, it will still offend some people and be completely inappropriate in some situations.  Using it all the time lessens its strength so best to say it when you really mean it!
